Lost all customized files after theme update!

Please take note that before updating things like plugins, themes and other files on your site be sure to backup first. Do you perhaps a backup of your site? If none, I would suggest to contact your server to restore the changes before it was broken. Also I would also suggest to move all your customization on a child theme https://github.com/afterimagedesigns/wp-bootstrap-starter-child, to prevent this kind of issue. Customizing the parent theme and updating it will remove all your customization and previous settings, since the theme has frequent updates, I would suggest to use a child a theme.
