Lost Channel Names

I’m having an issue that sounds related to this closed issue.

I have four forms feeding Flamingo; previous entries were associated with Channels indicating the source form, like
- Contact Form 7 / Suggest Resource
- Contact Form 7 / Course Interest
The site has migrated from a dev server to a production one (export done via standard WP export). The messages came across, but since the move, new messages are only associated with the Contact Form 7 channel. Because of the security on the production server, I lack access to the database to make any changes to the taxonomy, or even to add custom code.

Do I need just to regenerate all my forms? It will get messy with responses not separated by channel.

This site is managed by a university IT department. It was used to transfer the site from a development server to a production one. Looks like it was from

OK. I think it is probably the cause of the problem. It’s not at all “standard WP export” like you wrote.

Yes, there was more to it than that because the transfer of sites was done by an IT staff. I developed on a sandbox site, provided an export. I believe they imported it to an internal dev server and then used this plugin to migrate. So some custom taxonomies got lost?

I care less about the cause. The production site has yet to be used, so I guess my recourse is to make new versions of my forms, and replace the ones that got imported.
