I created several forms a few days ago and tested everything to make sure they were all working. I just noticed that they were not showing up on my site and when I logged into WP, the “Select a Form” dropdown menu had the forms listed but when I clicked on one of them, the menu text switched to “New Form” and all of the content was gone. Is this a common issue and what’s the best way to pull a backup of just this plugin’s data? Thanks!

  • Hi kb959fl, no this is not a common issue. Did you update any plugins or theme prior to this issue?

I didn’t update any plugins/themes but I did update the database (find/replace) after moving my dev site to the live site which included updating the domain name in WP.

If you click on the dropdown menu are your forms still there?

It was very strange because when I accessed the plugin, all of the forms were listed on the dropdown menu but once I clicked on each one, the name changed to “Form 1: New Form” and all of the contents were totally blank. This happened for each one of them as I clicked them. Each of the forms just had the basic listing for “email, subject, message”.

I went ahead and just re-created all the forms from scratch. Hopefully they will stay as-is now and I will try to use the “Backup” feature to save them when making updates.

mbrsolution – Do you know if there is a way to avoid the text being wrapped for each text box/field when a form’s results are sent via email?

Hi kb959fl can you explain a bit further what you mean by

When I receive an email submission which contains the contents of the form, the text is wrapped like this:

    Question #1:
testing this form, testing this form
testing this form, testing this form

Is there a way to set it up so all of the text is on the same line, like this:

    Question #1:
testing this form, testing this form, testing this form, testing form

This will make it much easier when I copy/paste the content. Thanks!

Hi enable the following option Enable to receive email as HTML instead of plain text. under Advanced tab if you have not done so yet. Let me know if that helps.
