Lost facebook comments after use SSL

    Hello,

    Thanks for your great plugin, but I have trouble when use SSL, all comments disappeared in front page. Only a new comments (created after applied SSL) is showing.

    How to fix it?

    Hi,

    Facebook keeps comments history with URL and if you change the URL, comments will not show.

    Installing SSL basically changed your URL. http and https are different URLs.
    That’s why your comments are not showing. Even if you placed Facebook Like button and you have lets say 10 likes showing at your page, these will also reset to 0 after SSL. But if you remove SSL, all comments and like count will be back but new comment with SSL will not appear then.

    Further more, these comments are not storing at your site. These are storing at Facebook.

    Ok, so I need start from beginning now.

    But the other error is “Moderation Tool” link not showing in all my post in in wordpress, so when visitor posting comments, that comments not appear in moderation tool in backend too.

    Can you solve this error?

    Hi,

    Are you using pro version? “Moderation Tool” link is a pro feature.
    In free version, you can moderate comments on https://developers.facebook.com/tools/comments/ if you are using Facebook App.
