Thanks. That got me to my login. Still not sure what I did to have it not offer the admin option. Tried to get rid of sidebar display on home page – but I don’t know why that would do it. Maybe just telling it to log me in automatically, even though the whole password thing was semi-automatic. Clueless, unfortunately.
You’re not clueless at all. The way many themes are set up, there is default stuff in the sidebar. In many cases, when you add something to the sidebar via widgets, ALL the default stuff vanishes, which can obviously be a big surprise. That may be what happened.
You can use the Meta widget in the sidebar, which should give you a log-in, and as I recall, you can adjust its settings.
