You mentioned that your backup restore did not bring back any of the recipes you have saved for years, and that you are now worried you will have to retype them all. It is completely understandable to feel frustrated when important content like long collected recipes seems to be missing after a restore, especially if you have relied on backups to keep your site safe.
To confirm, Jetpack VaultPress Backup allows you to restore your site to a specific point in time or even restore specific files or database tables, which can sometimes help recover content that does not appear after a general restore if it exists in an earlier backup snapshot. If you haven’t already, try locating an older backup in your Activity Log or Backup page to see if there is a restore point from before the recipes disappeared, then use the one-click restore from that point.
