Lost setting after some days

    Last week I found the contact form no longer shown on the pages of the site.
    After a check it emerged that everything setting was empty. For this I recreated a contact form and configured everything. I did the tests and when everything worked I duplicate the contact form and saved.
    Today I go back to the site and I see that the forms do not appear. In the settings of “Contact Form 7” nothing is set. All fields are empty again.
    The duplicate copy I made is also completely blank.

    It seems clear to me that the data is lost.
    (automatic update is not active)

    given the problems encountered, the plugin has been removed and replaced with another one so it is not possible to see anything online.

    In any case you would not see anything since the administrator side was all empty as it was just installed and the user side nothing appeared.
