Lost stats

Hi, Hope you can help?
I recently updated my website by creating a staging site to work on then published it back to live. However it seems jetpack still thinks the staging is a separate site and currently my live site is only showing stats and subscribers from when I created the staging site. I should have about 9 years of stats but currently only about 3 to 4 months.
It is likely my fault as I thought I had put jetpack in safe mode on the staging site but looks like I messed up.
On the mobile app I can see both sites and stats separately, both have the same name, but I have tried all ways to try and connect jetpack to the correct stats and subscribers but I cant figure out how to and it will only pull stats from the date the staging site was created. After reading other posts for help I think it looks like I need help in merging both stats together.
Is this something you can help with please?
