Hello nutzaboutstamping, & welcome. Unfortunately, this is not the forum that can help. This forum is for those who self host their WordPress sites. Yours, however, is hosted on wordpress.com, which is who you need to talk to to get this sorted. Please go there, contact 1 of their happiness engineers, & I’m sure they’ll get it figured out for you.
Best of luck & success.
Thanks. It seems this is coming full circle. I posted on the forum for wordpress.com and was advised that my blog was ww.wp.xz.cn. It would be nice to have some clarity here!

When we’re trying to connect to your site, we’re getting a redirect to malformed wordpress.com url.
I’d recommend starting with checking your .htaccess file.
If it does not help – ask GoDaddy support.
If they are hosting your site, you dont have to make wordpress.com redirect.
If you are moving your site to WordPress.COM – you shouldnt make redirect, but contact WordPress.com support and ask them what you should to instead (they probably ask you to delegate domain NS server records to their IPs)
Hi, thanks for trying to help me understand. I don’t know what this is I’d recommend starting with checking your .htaccess file or how to do it.
Further, your are right when you say: When we’re trying to connect to your site, we’re getting a redirect to malformed wordpress.com url. I remember that coming up a couple of days ago and I think my only option was to say yes. So likely I did that to myself. Any ideas how to fix it? Is it that .htaccess file????
Nutzaboutstamping, when I went to the page, I received the following:
“nutzaboutstampingpages.wordpress.com doesn’t exist.”
Your domain registrar is indeed godaddy, but your host appears to be (or have been) wordpress.com, & this is why I told you to contact them.
May we see your .htaccess file?
Sorry, what is a .htaccessfile?????
And where would I find it?
Hello, nutzaboutstamping. When you go to your Godaddy control panel, 1 of the things you should see there is file manager’. Open it up, then click on public_html. If there are files related to your website, they should be there. 1 of the files is .htaccess. It is a hidden file, though, so make sure that your file manager is set up to display these.
