lost WP login access

    Hi,

    After editing the .htaccess to do redirection of particular pages, we have lost access to the WP login link. It now redirects to the new URL too but 404

    HOw do we do this please? as we need to do further/additional edits

    Hi,
    Since you don’t have access to WP admin at the moment, use FTP to connect to your site and then delete (or rename) the .htaccess file. This will disable the problematic rules you added and you’ll be able to log in. Then open Htaccess Editor and restore the backup of .htaccess file.
