Hey, as other ticket are opened like settngs not working, Reduced by 0 (0 saved).
Images can be optimized using button in settings, but effects are really … not too great.
I tried on default settings (since I cant change it) and I compered it with TinyPNG with base settings. Just picked random images.

                  default reSmush TinyPNG
    image1.JPG 7kb 7kb 7kb
    image2.JPG 72kb 67kb 59kb
    image3.JPG 77kb 75kb 40kb
    image4.JPG 51kb 49kb 30kb
    image5.PNG 467kb 197kb 127kb
    image6.PNG 77kb 20kb 18kb

In both cases I cant tell difference between images.
IT is compared in default settings.

My point is, this plugins out of box does not make any special or better experience, plus come with a lot of bugs. Im not writing review, because Im happy you are making plugin, and it is free, I understand it is a lot of work.

But at least give me some reason to use it. now it is bugged, plus not great optimizations :/

    Hi @isuke01

Thanks for this feedback. Two things, from your file analysis :
    – you may consider that your original pictures are already pretty well optimized
    – TinyPNG provides in your case lower files, because they apply more destructive JPG/PNG compression. You can obtain identical or lower file size by lowering the quality settings from 92 to (example) 80

About bugs, feel free to report if you have any particular bug, as we have more than 100,000 installations, any bug reporting is clearly welcomed. We’re really interested in those feedbacks !

We’re hardly working on bugs reported in the support thread, to bring the best experience ever, still for free 🙂

    Best regards,
    Charles
