    Hi,

My understanding was that if you sign up for an API key, and enter the key in the Cloud Settings, that the compression will then be using TinyJPG for better (lossy) compression results.

I signed up and entered my key. I watched the tutorials and believe my settings are all correct (I have lossy JPEG compression selected).

Then I tried a few compressions in the Media library, just one at a time using the Optimize Now link and got about a 8 to 9% reduction.

When I took those same files and dropped them into the desktop compressor at TinyJPG, I received a 60-70% reduction.

I’m wondering if the plugin just does not achieve the same results as the desktop compressor or if you think I might have a setting wrong that is preventing me from taking advantage of the TinyJPG compression via the cloud. I did try to go over everything and try to make sure all settings were right based on your videos, but still only receiving very minimal compression.

Also note I am only compressing JPGs and doing no conversions or using any other file types.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks very much.
