Lowering banner position

Greetings,

I am working on a theme for my website and i am currently having trouble positioning my banner. I am using the Yaaarr, tis me blog! theme.

I managed to get my banner centered etc etc, but it’s a bit too high for my liking. I would really like to have the bottom of the banner as low as the Just another WordPress weblog description.

I will also be hiding the Weblog title and Tagline descriptions.
