Hi, I’m not very technical so please go easy with me. My ISP has told me I have to reduce some files as I’m at my limit. I logged on to my CPanel and went to the File Manager. In the main folder I found a file called lscache and on opening it I found probably thousands of files with folders dating back years. I am not currently using the LiteSpeed Cache plugin so was wondering if it’s safe to delete those files and folders?
    My disc usage shows:
    lscache
    3223.86 3380461568Owned by “nobody”.
Appreciate any help, thanks in advance.

The name lscache does not belong to anything in the WordPress core. Therefore, I would guess that a plugin you are using is the cause. If you have already ruled out Lite Speed, it becomes difficult. I cannot tell you whether you can remove it. You could try renaming it and see if everything still works afterwards.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I’m guessing that the LightSpeed Cache plugin I used to used has stored those files over the years and I never really paid attention.
I like your suggestion of renaming the folder, I just hope if I do that and WordPress crashes I won’t be able to change it back to the original!
Thanks again, will see if anybody else has anything to say.

Found a way to flush all the files. This created loads of space without crashing the site.
