• My sidebar is being pushed underneath my content/blog post section. The tops of these sections are supposed to be aligned with each other.

When I go to inspect element I can see that content boxes are overlapping (and incorrectly sized? These weren’t viewable/present/editable in lubith) however upon cracking open any CSS files I’m unsure what content to actually edit and what with.

I’ve only ever used lubith for WordPress layouts so I’m really green with all of this. I’d really appreciate any help at all.

  • You should ask in your theme’s support forum.

From the looks of it the forum is dead- is there nothing that can be done here?

We answer WordPress questions here. Your theme author is the person that knows about your theme. If it is old and not coded to account for different device sizes (this is called responsive), then it could be a lot of work to fix it. Asking people that don’t know your theme to do that is a bit much. We are all volunteers here.

(The license for all the plugins and themes from the WordPress repository must be GPL or GPL compatible, which states “As is, with no warranty”.

Sigh. I assumed since it’s volunteer work someone may see it and think “maybe I’ll help.” However when I’ve posted here in the past I’ve been made feel the same way- like my post doesn’t belong here, like I have no right being here so I’ll just stop posting here in hopes that someone may understand and feel generous.

Forgive me for trying. Have a nice day. Happy New Year.
