Mac Users: Fix For Error establishing a database connection

    Hey all Mac users, I found this on the web that helped me fix this error. I had tried all the usual stuff:

    • Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    • Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    • Are you sure that the database server is running?

    And when those did not work I started searching the web and this is what I found:
