Magazine Basic – Header and Slideshow Query

    Hi, I’ve almost customised the Magazine Basic theme to the way I want it to look, with the exception of two things:

    1. How do I get a slideshow to show up on my homepage (which is set to Recent posts?).

    I tried to sticky a post with a slideshow in it, but only the archive appears on the main page.

    2. I notice that the footer is a sticky footer that spreads the entire length of my screen, can the header be set the same way?

    Thanks heaps for any advice you can offer me, I’ve been tearing my hair out over this for three days. 🙂

    1. That would require a plugin or some manual code manipulation. Magazine Premium does offer a home page slider and many more options.

    2. Not without moving around some HTML.
