Mail delivery subsystem

Hi,
I was wondering to which email address the “Mail delivery subsystem” will be sent when a users fills in a non-existant email address? It’s not sent to the from e-mail address in the settings.

ciao @eyewebdesign,
since it’s sent with phpmailer (wp_mail is wrapper) the return path (by default) is set as the mail sender (http://phpmailer.github.io/PHPMailer/classes/PHPMailer.PHPMailer.PHPMailer.html)but if the mail sender was inexistent will be lost (with some exception).
