Thank you for contacting us regarding the issue you are facing. The error message generally indicates that your web server isn’t able to connect to the SMTP server. There could be a firewall between your web server and the SMTP server or you are using the incorrect SMTP Host or something similar.

Thank you. I’ll give it a try.
Although I have used the wizard to set up PostSMTP and test email was delivered properly, I still see “Postman is not configured and is mimicking out-of-the-box WordPress email delivery. ” and notifications from Pinpoint Booking are not being delivered. Depending on which mailer I try, I get a different failure message, but generally,
Notification test email could not be sent.
Mailer error: Could not instantiate mail function.
