At the time of our investigation, to avoid false MailChimp blocking, you can disable the SpamFireWall feature, as this is an optional feature, the main part of the spam protection will still work.
WordPress Admin Page → Settings → Anti-Spam by CleanTalk → SpamFireWal

We’ve fixed MailChimp’s connection blocking. Please:
- Turn SpamFireWall back on if you had it turned off.
- Click the “Synchronize with Cloud” button in the plugin settings.
