    I generated an API key in MailChimp which I copied and pasted in the eBook Store settings. It’s unclear what I should do next. The dropdown menu for ‘Subscribe buyers to MailChimp list’ is empty. Do I need to authorize the eBook Store plugin in MailChimp? If yes, how?

    Dear Pacikk,

    If you have pasted an api key and the list is empty, there might be limitation for php outbound connections that would result in such behavior.

    I’ll look into this and issue an update if there is a bug.

    Hello,

    Just so you and other users know, the MailChimp problem comes from allow_url_fopen feature being off in the PHP ini of the hosting provider or other firewall related limitation for outbound connections.

    I’ve triple checked and it works when outbound connections are not limited.
