Well yeah, I am using your extension. I am not using a different plugin.
I filled out the support request on your website.
Mailchimp support is saying it is how the call is being done to their webservice. It is just injecting the names, not allowing for confirmations nor welcome emails. It is just a raw injection into the list.
@badjesus – We have just added that feature and it is under testing already. Their should be a patch coming out shortly adding a new double optin feature that will force Mailchimp to send the notices. If you have any other feature requests we would love to hear them as that is the start of many other integration to come.
