    Hi,

I kind of fell in love with the simplicity of your new plug-in set…

I had at first tested Mailmunch and I immediately set up Mailchimp without needing to add an API key. I am not going to claim to understand that process, but after reading a bit about the API keys on Mailchimp’s website, I think that the Mailmunch way is most likely a better way to set up a connection with Mailchimp – more secure (?) and it worked immediately.

But since I want to use Hustle and I don’t want to have two plug-ins when I only need one… I tried to re-set up my newsletter subscription form.

This time, the form is acting correctly, but my e-mails are going into a void. They are not showing up in my Mailchimp account and I am not getting any opt-in mails in my e-mail clients. I am not sure what to try next, as my API key has been linked as suggested.

    Thanks for the support, April

I also want to note that there is a section in Mailchimp called:
    “Authorized Applications”
    – Mailmunch showed up here as soon as the integration was made
    – Hustle does not show up here, and I am not sure if I should add it manually
(requires a redirect URI for OAuth2 authentication, which I do not have…)

    Hello @spottedsalamander

    I trust you’re doing well!

Out of the box, when a user submits an email, a Submission confirmation is sent from Mailchimp, and a user needs to subscribe to the list. Please see this screenshot:
    https://monosnap.com/file/NAfMEFDxdH1xY9ACMnMlxHsQZ7GV1y

After a user accepts the subscription, an email address will be shown on MailChimp list.

To bypass this notification and add email address dorectory to MailChimp list, please edit the opt-in and open Integration tab. After integrating Hustle’s opt-in with MailChimp please choose Automatically opt-in new users to the mailing list option.

    Please see this screenshot:

Please also temporarily deactivate the Mailmunch plugin and to make sure there is no conflict and check if an email was submitted.

Let us know how it went!

    Kind regards,
    Nastia

    Hi Nastia,

thanks for the reply. I have viewed the attached screenshots and your last screenshot never shows in my Hustle plug-in.

I assume that this is shown after saving the “configure mailchimp” window…. but this always shows the same content (my API key)… The integration site is pretty empty and I do not see anywhere else where I am able to adjust my settings.

If I am mistaken, please tell me how to reach the window in question.

If there is a conflict, I do not know about it. Mailmunch is deactivated.

    Thank you,
    April

Update: I found the e-mail list tab and the e-mails were saved, but the active integration column remains empty even though I have attempted to set up my mail chimp account…

To clarify further, I want to keep the double opt-in. In Germany it is required. I only wish to know how to properly connect to Mail Chimp… because right now I am getting a success message, but it is obviously not connected.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I got it to work. I didn’t originally realize that there was an additional code for the audience… After I added that and re-connected my form it worked fine.
