Hello @ashankrao !
I’m very sorry to hear that you’ve experienced this issue!
When the issue happens, are there any errors in the JS Console in the browser?
Here are the steps to open the console in most popular browsers: https://balsamiq.com/support/faqs/browserconsole/
Please trigger the issue once again and share a screenshot of the output if there’s anything there, especially in red. This will give us clues as to what may be the cause here.
Best regards,
Pawel
Hi Pawel,
Thanks for getting back to me.
Here’s the requested screenshot. Hope this helps.

Hi @ashankrao
I hope you are doing well.
The screenshot helped, it is a fatal error.
Could you please enable the WordPress to debug mode following this guide https://wpmudev.com/blog/debugging-wordpress-how-to-use-wp_debug/ replicate the issue, the same problem will return, but this time checks the wp-content folder for a debug.log, download it, upload to Google Drive and share the URL?
Best Regards

Hi Patrick,
Thanks for writing back.
Apologies for the delay.
I did follow the steps you mentioned, but in the end, there was no debug.log file in the wp-content folder.
However, the same problem occurred.
Not sure what else can I help you with at the moment.
Thanks for all your help

Hi @developer04pegasus,
there was no debug.log file in the wp-content folder.
Just to be sure did you try replicating the issue once the debug mode is enabled? There could be a chance that the debug.log file won’t get generated if you didn’t try to replicate the issue.
If you have already tried and still debug.log file isn’t generated, then I’m afraid the issue sounds more like a conflict.
To rule out a conflict, could you also please check whether you get the same issue if you switch to a default WordPress theme and by deactivating all the plugins except Forminator?
This would give a better idea of what might be causing it. Please do let us know how that goes.
Looking forward to your response.
Kind Regards,
Nithin
Hello @developer04pegasus ,
We haven’t heard from you for some time now, so it looks like you don’t need our assistance anymore.
Feel free to re-open this ticket if needed.
Kind regards
Kasia
Hi Kasia,
Sorry for the late reply. We were busy with some other issue.
So I tried the integration process again, it still didn’t work, but I was able to find a debug.log file generated in our content folder this time. Here’s the link to the file: https://we.tl/t-oz4TNF1r46
Hope this helps. We really need to solve this asap.
Also, we did the conflict test, even with only the forminator plugin and wordpress default theme activated, integration was not successful, same reloading problem was there.
Looking forward to your reply

Hi @developer04pegasus
Thank you for the update.
I can see the error “Fatal error: Uncaught Forminator_Addon_Mailchimp_Wp_Api_Exception: Failed to process request : Your merge fields were invalid.”
It means there is a difference between Forminator field type and MailChimp, please double check your merge field in Mail Chimp, for example, if you are a Select Field in Forminator make sure the MailChimp is also a Select field.
On an important note, I can see your username and for the thread starter are different, per forum rules we don’t spam the thread starter, in case it is a different site could you please create a new ticket so we can handle it from there?
Let us know the result you got.
Best Regards

Hi Patrick,
Thanks for your reply. It worked, we were able to link the Mailchimp audience with our form successfully, thank you.
Just one more query. We are using the post submission form type and wanted to understand how does the Mailchimp integration works in such a case. For example, I submitted the form and I was able to see my details under the Mailchimp audience, which is perfect, what we want. Now, I submitted the form again, cause any person can submit any number of posts he/ she wants. But this time instead of the success message the following notification appeared.
“An error occurred while processing the form. Please try again”
Even though this error message popped up, the post was submitted successfully. I was able to see it in the backend being an admin. And it’s not an ideal behaviour because as a user I’d have submitted the form again.
Also, I used the same name and email both times.
And sorry for the confusion, the thread starter is my colleague and since he is busy with some other tasks I had to take over the conversation. We are still talking about the same site here.
Thanks a ton
Looking to hearing from you soon

Hi @developer04pegasus
I made a test on my lab site with Mailchimp connected and when I use the same email I get a positive message all the time.
Could you share with us your Mailchimp fields names and which fields you map from Forminator?
Also please share, if possible your form in the next reply. You can export it from your site and upload it to dropbox or google drive.
Kind Regards,
Kris
