Hi Emma, you say it used to work well before. Then it just stopped working. Do you know of any changes made to your website before this started happening? For example did you update any plugin or added new plugins. Did you update the theme or changed the theme. Did your host make any changes to the server?
Can you enable Debug mode in Simple Membership plugin. Then carry out a test to see if a new subscriber is added to the MailChimp list.
Thank you.
Hi and thanks for your fast answer,
Turns out the debug mode was already enabled, so I could take a look at yesterdays’ tests. Seems like the tests failed because I used an email address that’s been tested previously (even though it’s been deleted from the Mailchimp list). When I used a totally new email address, the sync worked, but with quite some delay.
This doesn’t explain why real members hasn’t been added to Mailchimp lately, but maybe that issue was solved when I ran all updates yesterday. I also made a small change in the Mailchimp list name, just to be sure it was correct in the plugin settings.
So, issue solved for now 🙂
Thanks,
Emma
How do you use Simple Membership with Woocommerce and Mailchimp? There are three different places that the user data and account information can be captured in forms. For instance, if I capture an email address from a mailchimp form or a customer makes a purchase on woocommerce (giving account information) how does this all tie into the User Role in WordPress or simple membership?. I guess I dont understand how to capture a name and email and make it their WordPress account, simple membership account and still log them into woocommerce?
@brazilian, this thread is marked as resolved. Can you start a new support thread.
Thank you
