    I’m getting messages at the top of the admin about merge fields not matching, but they do and they work.

    Is there something that I can “reset” or clear some type of cache or something else I’m missing to get these things to go away?

    I have a screenshot. Maybe I can attach once the post submits.

    The message will persist as long as there is a difference between the merge fields defined in the plugin and the merge fields defined for the list at MailChimp.

    Shot of errors. These were fields and deleted from both WP and MC.

    Did you try re-saving the settings in the MailChimp plugin? That should put them in sync.

    Also, did you try the “dismiss” button on the messages?

    Just did. No change in behavior.

    Also, the errors repeat for some of the fields, like MMERGE12 repeats 3 times.

    Yes, I tried dismiss. They come back.

    Any luck on recreating this??

    Since last week I’m a little further into the event I’m working on and I deleted the Mailchimp integration plug in to test and those messages are persistent in the Participants Database!

    Are there some cache locations that might be carrying this on? Does that new info help any?

    All the connections worked. Mailchimp responded correctly updating the fields. It’s just the error messages that are always at the top. Annoying but functional. But I do with they would scram!

    Did you try the latest version of the MailChimp plugin? Should be version 1.8.3 Re-saving the settings should clear those messages.

    I had updated to 1.8.3
    I deleted the 1.8.3
    Found my original email and installed it again. 1.8.2
    Updated it to 1.8.3
    Resaved the settings.
    Changed the API at MC and tried again.

    Same behavior.

    All right, I’m sorry for the annoyance. I’m not able to reproduce this here, so I am forced to guess what the problem is. I have an update coming for Participants Database that should help with this.

    And now a new message for the mail chimp list.

    “Please select a mailing list and save the settings before completing the plugin configuration.”

    The list is selected and it’s working.
