Hello,

Right now we are seeing “NOT CONNECTED” as the Status.The error we are getting is “Error connecting to MailChimp. Received HTTP code 400 from proxy after CONNECT”

We have white listed https://*.api.mailchimp.com.

The last 4 digits of API key is -us13

Site URL: https://fenwickisland.test.gic.dos.state.de.us/

Can you please help what we are missing.

Hi Sudeer,

I can’t reach that website URL you posted.

Here is some documentation for solving common connectivity issues:

In this case please first make sure you have updates your PHP and more importantly your cURL version.

The URL that needs to be whitelisted in your case is:
https://us13.api.mailchimp.com

You can test the API key itself from another system in your browser like this:

https://us13.api.mailchimp.com/3.0/?apikey=%5Byour api key]
If that works you know at least that the API key is correct.

Next is to logon to SSH of your webserver if you have acces and try
curl -v https://us13.api.mailchimp.com/3.0/?apikey=%5Byour api key]
This should output more verbose logs about the issue.
