    Hi Mailpoets,

I have traffic spikes to my websites which are unfortunately, not organic/legitimate.
My web host is helping me to track down the problem. They see “mailpoet hitting the limit consistently”.

The cpanel resource usage http query snapshots kick up something like this a lot:
    https://tangoforge.com/?mailpoet_router&endpoint=cron_daemon&action=run&data=eyJ0b2tlbiI6ImM3MjlrIn0P

My last email was 13 may to 1000 people. So I should not have a whole lot of traffic kicked up by people clicking “view in browser” or something like that…

    What is it?

    Thank you!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @violetta

That is our Task Scheduler working. This is part of normal operations. In order to work properly, the newsletter task scheduler needs to be triggered by an event to run continuously and send all the emails that are scheduled in your sending queue.

If for any reasons this causing you issues, we suggest that you set up a Linux cron option by going to the MailPoet >> Settings >> Advanced Tab.

    Same Issue here :/

the cron produce on some of my sites (not all) massive serverload all the time

    ?mailpoet_router&endpoint=cron_daemon&action=run&data=eyJ0b2tlbiI6IjFmcG56In0 HTTP/1.1

the websites concerned also include websites that have hardly any subscribers
