MailPoet plugin conflict with Elementor

When we enable the mailpoet plugin, the elementor panel fails to load with a spinning wheel, when editing any page or post.

As soon as the MailPoet plugin is disabled, the editing panel loads fine. There seems to be some conflict. I would be happy to share the system info shown on the MailPoet plugin, if needed. Can you please help in solving this?

Thanks for your response. Here is the System Info. We have tried disabling all plugins and the elementor panel stops loading exactly when MailPoet is activated.

Thanks for sharing the system info — your server resources and PHP/WordPress versions all look solid, so we suspect this might be related to a conflict with another piece of software on your site.

Looking at your active plugins, I have a couple of observations:

1. Possible duplicate Essential Addons plugin Your system info shows two Essential Addons entries:
- essential-addons-elementor
- essential-addons-for-elementor-lite
Having two versions of the same plugin active at the same time can cause conflicts. Could you please check under Plugins → Installed Plugins and verify whether both should be active? If one is an older or duplicate version, please deactivate and delete it.

2. Targeted conflict test Rather than deactivating everything at once, I’d suggest testing these specific plugins first. After each change, try opening the Elementor editor to see if the spinning wheel goes away:
1. Deactivate both Essential Addons entries → test
2. Deactivate All in One SEO → test
3. In LiteSpeed Cache settings, temporarily disable any JS/CSS minification, combining, or defer options → test
If none of those resolve it, please try with only Elementor, Elementor Pro, and MailPoet active (all others disabled) to confirm whether the issue is between just these two plugins.

Also — could you let us know which Elementor and Elementor Pro versions you’re using?

Dear Team,

Thank you for your kind response on our issue.
1. The essential-addons-for-elementor-lite is required for the essential-addons-elementor plugin just as Elementor is required for Elementor Pro.
2. We have deactivated ALL plugins apart from Elementor, Elementor Pro and MailPoet. And the Elementor panel is loading only after we disable the MailPoet plugin, despite all other plugins being disabled. On the contrary, Elementor panel loads fine if all plugins are activated apart from MailPoet.
3. We have tried disabling the LiteSpeed Cache options – but to no avail either.
4. We have tried using different browsers as well.
5. We are using Elementor v3.35.9 and Elementor Pro v3.35.1.
Looking forward to next steps.

Thank you for the update, and letting us know the results of your testing!
- Along with deactivating all other plugins, did you also try switching to a default theme like Twenty Twenty Five while only MailPoet and Elementor are active?
- If you deactivate Elementor Pro as well (so only MailPoet and the core Elementor plugin are active), do you still see the same error?
I was testing with the latest versions of MailPoet and the free Elementor plugin, but did not see the same issue you report — the Elementor pages in wp-admin loaded without issue. We don’t currently have access to Elementor Pro for testing with that plugin.

There are also lots of other site owners out there using both MailPoet and Elementor, however searching our support system and the forums, I don’t see any other recent similar reports. If it was a conflict between the MailPoet plugin and Elementor plugins, it seems we would likely see other reports as well.

Please check the following:
- When the issue occurs and the Elementor panel does not load, do you see any errors in your browser console? Please share screenshots of what you see, or copy/paste any errors that show up here so we can take a look: https://balsamiq.com/support/faqs/browser-console/
- Also, check for any PHP error logs on your server (your hosting support can help check if you are unsure about access server error logs).

I have followed all the troubleshooting instructions 

When I click EDIT WITH ELEMENTOR > LOADING > "Can't Edit? Enable Safe Mode"
if i deactivate MailPoet > click EDIT WITH ELEMENTOR > LOADING > "Can't Edit? Enable Safe Mode" comes on the goes away Spinning Wheel

Even when symptoms look similar, the root cause often differs from site to site due to different plugin combinations, versions, and server configurations — so a separate thread lets us troubleshoot yours without things getting tangled up.

When you create your new thread, it would be really helpful if you could include:
- Your WordPress, MailPoet, and Elementor versions
- A description of what you’re experiencing
- Whether the issue goes away when you deactivate MailPoet
- Any error messages you see (including in your browser console)
