CSS doesn’t work that way. The category selectors are identical and that last declared will be the color displayed.
There are 2 options.
1. You can use the ‘Hide’ to not colorize one of the categories.
2. You can use a border for one category and a background for another and both will display.

thanks for your answer, I understand the reasoning. But I think it can be a good evolution for a future version. When we have an event that corresponds to several categories it is interesting to use the color of the main category. Especially as with the “superpowers” the event is still emerging regardless of the category selected.
You should try option #1 above. From the Category Colors Settings check the “Hide” checkbox for all ‘minor’ categories.

Yes I understood correctly, the problem is that I do not want to hide the legend so far 🙂
There is a setting to allow hidden categories in the legend.
