    Hello!
I have an ocean theme wp —–theamericanquarterhorse.com
I went on my website—And I was trying to put a social media plugin on a footer bar.
I found several that didn’t want to work or didn’t work the way I wanted them too. Finally I found one that worked the way I wanted. The plugin I was using—“social media widget standard” was perfect, however
when I went to the site to take a final look, my main menu was totally GONE!!
I figured there probably was a conflict, so deactivated the plugin. When I deactivated the plugin, the area that had held my main menu –between –“the american quarterhorse” and the page title—“home” had turned blue to match my main background color.
I reactivated the plugin and it turned back to black to match the rest of the header like I had it set before, but no menu.
So I re-deactivated it, and deleted the plugin hoping my main menu would return. When I did the area totally disappeared, and “the american quarterhorse” and the “home” were sort of “smished” together-the space where the menu used to be was totally gone along with my menu.
My menu is definitely in the dashboard, and I hit “re-saved” to try and make it do what it was supposed to do,, but nothing..
I asked for support help, and someone noticed that the mobile menu—which had never been there before—was in the right hand corner.
I went in and checked my menu—it was there with ‘main” checked, all my pages were there and “public”.
I went into appearance—customize—menu—-mobile menu is NOT check—-main is checked but not visible on the front end no matter what I do, and I cannot figure out what bar–header setting went between “the american quarter horse” and “home” where the main menu used to set., and why I have a mobile menu and it is not checked.
I admit I am a newbie, but this is really frustrating, would appreciate any advice.
    Thanks..

Hello, this is not the mobile menu but the Full Screen header style, go to the Header > General section of the customizer and select the Minimal header style, that will make appear the navigation 🙂

Hi, what do you mean it didn’t fix the problem? I see your menu now, you have the minimal header style.

    Hello,
No it did not work at all, I did exactly what you said, and it would put the menu all mushed up in the words of “the American quarter horse”.
I hired 24×7 to try and fix it and they couldn’t fix it, they would fix part of it and tell me it was fixed when it was not fixed and when I pointed out the problems they would tinker some more and it still wasn’t fixed, so yesterday I got hostgator to do a complete restore. Somehow it would appear the plugin scrambled something in there, not sure what..

Hi, it is because you have too many menu items n your menu, remove at least three menu items, and your header will look good.

After a restore everything is there and looks fine so far.
Is there a certain number in the menu in ocean cannot handle??

Hi, it is not an OceanWP issue, you will have this problem with all themes, if you add too many menu items to your menu, the entire navigation will go under the logo.
