Main menu links not working

    My main menu links are not working- when I click on any of them, rather than take me to the appropriate page, they just take me to the homepage again. Although when I hover over the links, the appropriate page’s address is displayed at the bottom of the page.
    I have tried deleting my menu and recreating it, refreshing my permalinks, deleting any recently installed plug-ins– to no avail.
    I have also tried creating a new test page, and I notice that I can’t view the new page.

    looks like a problem with your permalinks, change permalinks in you admin > settings and see if the links work?

    I tried changing the permalinks in my settings but they still don’t work

    what did you try to set it to? did you try plain?

    ok. you can try couple of things
    1) Permalinks — You have already tried this
    2) Disable/deactivate all plugins and see
    3) Change your theme and see if the links work

    Ok I disabled all plugins and now the links seem to be working. Now to figure out which plugin was the culprit…

    I take a guess: it is something with the translation feature.

    you can enable plugin one by one to see which one is the culprit. Btw nice recipes 🙂

    Yes you were exactly right, it was the Polylang plug-in

    Upon further research it seems it has a bug which they are aware of.

    Thank again so much, I’ve been wasting my whole day trying to figure this out!!!
