Good evening, for my WordPress site cuorementespirito.it, after the update to Wordress 6.5 done today, I noticed that the plugin Maintenance doesn’t work properly: as you can see (going to my website), the site in maintenance mode shows only the typical plugin rotating gear, but it doesn’t load the maintenance page, that worked before.

I already tried to clear the pc cache, browser cache and website cache (this with LiteSpeed Cache – purge all), and to uninstall and reinstall the plugin, but it doesn’t work.

Could  you please check what is the problem? Thank you

    Francesco

We have tested Maintenance with WordPress 6.5 and found no issues. On your page I see some extra JavaScript from (soledad-pagespeed, soledad lazyload etc.). I’m not sure where that is from, maybe the theme, but that is probably causing the issue or a conflict of some sort although I can’t really figure out why it’s breaking down jQuery on the Maintenance page 🙁 But without that it definitely works.

You are right, thank you: I have Soledad theme, and deactivating the related plugin: “Penci Shortcodes & Performance”, Maintenance works. Then it wil be necessary to understand why the plugin Penci Shortcodes & Performance, even if I followed Soledad guide to configure it, is in conflict with Maintenance…

Maintenance tries to block other plugins from loading, but some of the LazyLoad plugins force themselves in partly. But that “partly” sometimes causes issues as some parts don’t get loaded and they error out 🙁
