Hi,
thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
Can you please elaborate what “the shortcode doesn’t work here” means? Can you please post a link to the page with the table where this problem happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!
Regards,
Tobias
Hey Tobias,
Trampolin-im-Test.de
It just doesn’t show the table here at the bottom of my main page.
Kind regards,
Phil
Hi Phil,
thanks! That’s strange, indeed. Is this really the regular content area of the post/page, or some extra content box that e.g. your theme offers?
Does the same happen with a WordPress default theme, like TwentyFifteen?
Regards,
Tobias
Hi Tobias,
It is just the regular box, where I am possible to add content to my site.
But I checked twenty twelve and saw, that under this theme the table is shown as it should be. So I will contact the theme support.
Thank you for your time.
Phil
Hi Phil,
thanks for checking. Yes, this sounds as if your theme is not evaluating Shortcodes there (probably because it’s not using the regular the_content() template tag function or something like that). Asking the theme devs is therefore a good idea.
If they find that this is related to TablePress, please let me know!
Best wishes,
Tobias
P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
