    Hello

    Last week I put the site live and I changed the setting in Yoast plugin form site under construction to site is live.
    I can see the site without problem, but if I go to google .com I can see the following message:
    Maintenance mode is on. Site will be available soon. Thank you for your patience!

    Today I put the site in Google search Console, but still I see the message.

    Any idea what I am doing wrong?

    Any help will be appreciate!

    Hello,

    You are right. Though https://elkeoehme.ch/ is now live, it shows the site title and meta description as though it is still in maintenance mode. See image

    To troubleshoot further, we viewed the page source and the site title is <title>Startseite - Elke Oehme</title> but a meta description is missing. However, the open graph meta description is <meta property="og:description" content="Als Non-Profit-Managerin berate und coache ich Sie bei der Entwicklung Ihrer Organisation und Umsetzung Ihrer Projekte. Entwicklung Ressourcen Wirkung Entwicklung Ressourcen Wirkung" />

    It seems Google hasn’t updated their index yet. Once your site is crawled again, the problem should be resolved.

    Hello

    Thank you for your support. I updated the meta description, so if I understood property I need to wait until Google index teh site. Any idea how much it will take?

    There is no specific time. It may take up to weeks for Google to re-crawl your site.
