Maintenance Mode Not On

    Hello

    I downloaded, installed, and activated this plugin. I uploaded the text I’d like to see, and the image. But it is not working at all. I cleared my cache and deactivated all other plugins. What are the steps to get this maintenance page to actually show up for my domain?

    Also, am I allowed to upload a theme and work on it in the background while this page is presented to the public?

    Hello,

    Have you checked the website in a different browser or incognito window (as a simple visitor)? You can’t see the maintenance mode page if you’re logged in as an administrator.

    And about the other question, yes, you’re free to work on the website even if the maintenance mode is activated.
