    Hi

I use WP multisite but only use the plugin on one site. I updated WordPress 3.9 this morning and there is a major error with both WP lister for Amazon and ebay. I didnt copy the error but I had to roll back a snapshot in order to restore my site

    Cheers

    Hey @albertramsbottom

    Thanks for contacting support.

I am not sure if you knew this but we don’t officially support multi site installs. Yes, when using WP-Lister on only one site of a multi site install our users have reported no issues, but we still don’t officially support multi site installs.

With that said, in order for us to be able to help here, we will need to know what the error was in order to diagnose what is happening.

    Kind regards,
    John

Yes I am aware of this and have been using your plugins on one site in a multisite environment for 3 years and all has been fine. This is part of the reason why I have never upgraded to the pro versions and I have never been sure what effect they might have in a multisite environment

The latest wordpress completely destroys the site but without destroying my site again I can paste the error message

I dont know the error is a have restored a snapshot. Sorry, but I suspect if anyone else is using this in a multisite environment, which there are, there might be some problems

    Thanks

PS I might try to update again as I will eventually have to and see if I can copy the error

    Hey @albertramsbottom

    Alright that sounds good.

Maybe the error you received was the same as this: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/compatibility-issues-with-woocommerce-3-9-0/ ?

    Kind regards,
    John

    Yeap that was it

I am restoring a snapshot at the moment so will roll back to earlier version of woocommerce

    Thanks

I have also got the following error on the Ebay options section of the edit product page. This is on one of the sites that I am not using. I mean I dont use the plugin on this site

This is on the restored multisite running woo 3.8.3, so I think it is safe to assume this plugin does not work on a multisite install and does cause issues.

On my main site it works fine

    Hey @albertramsbottom

I am happy to let you know that we have pushed a fix for this issue in both WP-Lister for eBay and WP-Lister for Amazon. The fix should be included in the next version of the plugin.

Great stuff, really really excellent. I suppose I should expect these plugins to be flagged as “update Available”, soonish

    Hey @albertramsbottom

I would say by next week the update should be out. But only pro users have access to new versions right away. I am not sure exactly when it will be released to ww.wp.xz.cn for free users.

    Kind regards,
    John

    OK John
Its the issues with multisite that I have never brought the pro versions. This means that anyone who updates WordPress and uses the free versions it will break their site.

I believe that the free versions updates should be rolled out ASAP along with Pro. As this is out of anyone’s control. This is a bug in the plugins and effects woocommerce 3.9

There will be lost of complaints as this is a bug fix and not additional features

    Hi

There was updates for the plugins which seems to have fixed the original issue. However there is some errors still appearing. But I will add that this is on one of the sites that I do not use this plugin

In the ebay options this is appearing

Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in /var/www/streetdecals.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-lister-for-ebay/classes/model/EbayCategoriesModel.php on line 488

Notice: Trying to get property ‘site_id’ of non-object in /var/www/streetdecals.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-lister-for-ebay/classes/model/EbayCategoriesModel.php on line 489

And also when I refresh the page, when debugging is enabled I get the following warning

HP Warning: Use of undefined constant WPLA_PLUGIN_URL – assumed ‘WPLA_PLUGIN_URL’ (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /var/www/streetdecals.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-lister-for-amazon/classes/integration/Woo_Backend.php on line 189
