I have exactly the same variations throughout all the products. Every product in the store will have the same variation

I don’t want the customer to choose the variation every time, is there any way to make the default selection if the customer chooses the first time?

I want to make the selection as default for the customer after he chooses for the first product

    Kindly help me with this

  • It is possible to set a default variation on a per-product basis:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/#section-6

… but you’d need to do that for every product. An alternative might be a plugin like this one:

    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/force-default-variant-for-woocommerce/

… which can set a default variation for every product at once.

However, I don’t think there’s a way to record a user’s first variable choice, and then deploy that as the default variation across all products for that user. That might require some custom code, which isn’t something we can really help with I’m afraid.

I’ll leave this open for a bit to see if anyone from the community would like to contribute.
