make changes to archive post page

    Hello,

    I am using Neve version 3.1.3 with Gutenberg Blocks and Otter.

    I’m trying to add a graphic and text above the posts in the post archive page but the changes aren’t appearing on the page.

    Also, when I click on Preview in New Tab, I am taken to the homepage.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi @deeny!

    If that page is set as Posts Page in Settings -> Reading, WordPress will take control over that page and no page builder will be able to edit it. This is not related to the theme or the page builder, it’s simply the way WordPress behaves with pages set as Posts Page. You could try to leave that setting blank and then create the blog page using Gutenberg blocks.

    Hi @deeny,

    Adding a custom section at the beginning of the posts loop on archive pages is possible in the premium version of the theme via the Custom Layouts module.
