• Hi Authors,
    Your plugin is excellent except one thing .
    The plugin clear cache so quick whenever the site has new posts . This cause a big problem with site that have updates frequently and does not benefit the quick performance with caching .
    I suggest that plugin has smarter clearing cache policy such as :
    delete cached files for posts that is modified only (don’t apply for new post) or delete cached files slowly (every 10 files in a row) …
    Hope you could improve the plugin in next release . I don’t want to switch to total cache or super cache plugins . I love your plugin . Please change it !

    @heightceleb You can control how often the cache is cleared in **Dashboard → Quick Cache → Directory/ Expiration Time**. When you publish a new post or edit a post, only that post’s cache is cleared, not the entire site’s cache.

    Hi Raam Dev,
    Yes I know that . I set my expiration time is 6 months or 1 year (whatever) but whenever I publish 10 new posts for example , the quick cache will clean almost unexpired cached files immediately . what I expect it does not clean any cached files because these posts are new , quick cache must create more new cached files instead .

    @heightceleb I’m not sure I understand what you’re saying.

    When you publish a new post, only the “Home Page” cache and the “Posts Page” are cleared automatically. No other files are cleared.

    What I mean the cached files of each old posts are cleared too fast whenever new post is published . I don’t want cached files of old posts is deleted (but it does right now ) . You should test it with a site that has hundreds of posts you’ll see

    @heightceleb Are you creating new categories when you create and publish these new posts? If you create a new category, Quick Cache will clear the entire cache because there are many different pages that may be affected by that action.
