Make custom taxonomy searchable

    must admit my ignorance, probably never had to consider the case, but i just discovered that taxonomies are not included in WP’s search…

    is there a way to search for a taxonomy term?

    Hello @maxgx,

    The core search queries are provided by WordPress and WooCommerce themselves. Should you need to modify these queries, you should consult their documentation for additional information.

    If you’re using one of our header Search elements, you may be able to achieve this automatically via the “Search Through Taxonomies” option, which can be found under Customiser → Header → Search (Box) element.
