Make footer permalinks same as header

Hello,

I’m trying to figure out why the top sub nav links in the footer area (in the Find Your Favorites dropdown) have this:

http://myimperfectkitchen.com/?cat=93

While the header links look like this:

http://myimperfectkitchen.com/category/events/

The site is using the Genesis Framework.
