  • There is no official way to configure a linked title with the widget itself. Some other folks may have some clever workarounds for it, but you can always do something like add a text widget above the image widget in your sidebar and add the link there (using the proper HTML and style). Then, simply leave out a title for the image widget.

    What I did in the end was create a jetpack image widget, with the image linking to a page, and with a caption. Then I copied the resulting html, using firebug, and pasted all of it into a text widget. So I can style the h3 any way i want to.

    It just makes it that bit more difficult for other folks who don’t want to get into any code to change the image or links. So it works, but it’s a pity that links for h3 widget header aren’t included in wordpress as standard
