Make parent menu clickable
-
Hi everybody
I tried to find an easy fix for the following issue:
I have a menu item with submenus. Now opening the submenu on desktop is no problem, but on mobile, one needs to click the small triangle/icon button on the left. What I would like is that the submenu opens also with click on the parent item.
The issue has been risen a lot of times for years now, but but there is no solution within wordpress by configs and I also didn’t find out any for the theme I’m using (astra).
So I didn’t find any state of the art solution for that issue. Does anyone have a good and easy approach for this without to much hacking?
Thanks in advance for any help!

This is not a WordPress issue. WordPress merely allows you to create the menu structure. The design and functionality of the menu, including the “hamburger” and “triangle” icons, belong to the active theme.
Please post in your Astra theme’s support forum so the theme’s authors can help you with this: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/theme/astra/
Good luck!
Thanks for your answer, will try there then.
