The search form added in the menu should work on every pages including category/archive pages.
If it doesn’t work for you on your site then could you please share me the page URL from your site where it is not working correctly so that i can troubleshoot it?

Well that’s good news – It would be great if you could have a look at the page.
It’s currently under development and is therefore not public, but I could send you the login data for a test user (would editor role be sufficient?).

I logged in to your site and saw the livemesh-siteorigin-widgets plugin you are using on your site generates javascript errors on archive pages as shown in this screenshot https://imgur.com/a/mz15i causing search plugin not to work.
To confirm this you can test it by temporary deactivating livemesh-siteorigin-widgets plugin.
If you confirmed the issue then please contact livemesh-siteorigin-widgets plugin developer to resolve the issue.
