I have build my website using popup-maker to make content show in lightboxes, and it’s working really well.

Now the problem is that I have quite a lot of these “popups” and my page has become super slow. I found out that all the popups are always loaded no matter if they are shown on the current page or not.

So, I am looking for a way to only load a popup when it is triggered. Is this possible?

  • I actually had the same question. I only use popups in some pages and not on every page of my website. I there is a way to load them only on a certain page that would be awesome! Please help, thanks!

Sorry for the delay, thank you for your patience.

Yes, this is exactly the reason we have Popup Conditions. When you set a Condition for a popup, the popup will only be loaded on that page, post, etc.

So, if you set the Condition as Home Page, the popup will only be available to be triggered on the Home Page. If you tried to trigger it on a different page, it won’t pop up (because it’s not loaded there).

Find the Popup Conditions Pane in the Popup Editor, in the right-side column. Read more about Popup Conditions.

    Hope this helps!

If you haven’t already, please do take a moment to click that Popup Maker Works and to rate and review the plugin to spread the love! <3

I have similar, but little different question.
I use popup on schedule. Schedule located in widget on every pages. Eventually on every pages loading all popups, even if events is not now. I can not understand how condition must be used for loading popup in only active event…

    Thank you!
