• Hi!

I am trying to find out what your plans are concerning Gutenberg.
I couldn’t find any information on the themefoundry website. In case I overlooked something please point me in the right direction.

Right now we are preparing our clients for Gutenberg.
We have a couple of client projects running with Make.
I got the impression that there won’t be a Gutenberg compatible version of Make any time soon.
    Can you confirm that?

    Thanks!

  • A very good question, especially as on one client website, updating to the latest version of the Gutenberg plugin (4.5.1) causes problems with the Make layout functionality. It seems to be duplicating content contained in a Content Columns section as a ‘classic edit’ block at the top of the screen. Yet when the page is previewed it all seems normal.

Also: the site is reporting a failure to load the tinymce plugin from the wp-includes/js/tinymce/ folder.

I’ve deactivated Gutenberg for now, but obviously that won’t be an option once it becomes part of the WP core. Is this something you folks are already aware of and working on?

    Hi Darren,

    thanks, good to know!
Anyway, as no one from thethemefoundry cared to answer we already decided to move away from Make.
Pity, but no communication is never a good sign.

    Kirsten
