Make thumbnails with long width

    How to change, if it’s possible, to make width of the gallery thumbnails longer then default width?

    Sorry, not sure if I correct understand your point. In gallery settings we have options where you could define custom ratio values for width and height of the gallery thumbnails. Open Size options in gallery settings / Thumbnails options / Custom Ratio.
    Try to change width value and check results on gallery front end.
