Sounds like the TinyMCE update in WordPress 3.9
Also note that TinyMCE now doesn’t accept brackets in its ID attribute anymore; you get white text when you do that. See https://core.trac.ww.wp.xz.cn/ticket/27601

Can you confirm that it’s a TinyMCE issue (it likely is)?
If you can follow these instructions for enabling JavaScript debugging that can narrow that down.

If it is a TinyMCE issue then I’ll add it to the know issues list.
Having this issue as well. On one site, refreshing the dashboard screen solved it but on another that is not working.
No javascript errors in the console in Chrome.
Any other ideas?
After refreshing the dashboard screen a few times, the white screens went away.
I do not have the TinyMCE plugin installed so it’s not that.
