Making "Sticky" readable…

I’m using your plugin, hoping it would make my sticky post more than just a black title. Its no use to me to have a sticky post if a viewer can’t read it when my site opens. Used to be that sticky posts were also readable, not just a title. Can this plugin make my sticky post readable, without someone having to click on it? YOu know how people are – they’ll show up and scroll down until they see an article, which will be my SECOND article. I want them to read my FIRST article, not just the title. Thanks.
